Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Oldsmar, FL

Pay Range: $32-43

Interprets engineering prints to design processes and works with design engineering to implement production improvements. Supports the production floor by working with the operations team and focusing on continuous improvement. Designs, procures, and implements tooling to support manufacturing processes. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Shift hours are Mon-Thurs 3:30 PM EST-2:00 AM EST.

Responsibilities:
• Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies
• Inspects performance of machinery
• Supports the production floor by working with the operations team
• Designs manufacturing processes and production layout for circuit card assemblies and subassemblies
• Understands how the circuit card assembly process works
• Verify efficiency of equipment and tools
• Investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality
• Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and specifications.

Required Qualifications:
• 1-2 years experience with AutoCad
• 1-2 years experience reading and interpreting Blueprints
• 1-2 years experience with General Assembly roles
• Bachelors Degree and 4-8 years of experience
• Must be able to read/write English fluently
• Ability to walk up and down stairs safely
• Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs. of equipment and tools
• Ability to support 2nd shift, Mon-Thurs 3:30 PM EST-2:00 AM EST

Desired Qualifications:
• Cable harness experience and process writing
• Cable harness and electromechanical subassembly experience
• Experience with circuit card assembly process
• J-STD-001 experience
• Surface mount technology
• Wire harness print reading
